Subfamily:Olethreutinae
Genus:Dichrorampha
Species:consortana
Authority:Stephens, 1852

Nationally scarce (Na) on dry grassland and roadside verges, chiefly in southern England, but also in other parts of the British Isles. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight recorded from all three vice-counties in the past but evidently rare or overlooked, in recent years only reported from Leckford and Southsea. Wingspan 9-12 mm. Similar to D. acuminatana in general appearance but usually smaller and with relatively broad forewings; D. consortana may be distinguished from D. acuminatana by its better-defined median fascia and the diffuse apical and subbasal lines of the cilia of the forewing [Bradley]. Larva feeds within stems of Ox-eye Daisy.
