Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from northern Europe. Recorded once in the United Kingdom, a female taken in Essex on 19 August 2006. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 12-14 mm. Larva feeds on seeds of Wild Angelica.
