Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from central and southern Europe. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 10-15 mm. Larva feeds on Whorled Caraway and Rock Samphire, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
