Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in citrus fruit. First recorded in London in 2000 (Br.J.Ent.Nat.Hist 14:147). The only record from our area was once taken at light in Southsea, Hampshire in 2017. Wingspan 10-12 mm. In its native range along the Mediterranean, the larva feeds within flowers, buds and fruit of citrus species, causing sufficient damage to be a serious pest in some areas.
