Recorded for the first time at Lydd, Kent on 20 September 1993, with subsequent records from Kent in 1999, Suffolk in 2002, East Yorkshire in 2002 and Dorset in 2005. Wingspan 26-28 mm. Records of this species will not be accepted unless the specimen is retained for examination.
A widespread species on the continent, where the larva feeds on Sallow, Black Poplar and White Poplar.
