Very rare immigrant from North Africa, appearing for the first time in Britain at Praze-an-Beeble, Camborne, Cornwall on 22 November 1995, with no further records to date. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 32-50 mm. Larva feeds on various herbaceous plants.
