Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in produce from North America. Recorded once in Britain, at Grain, Kent, on 1 July 2008, probably the result of accidental importation from shipping in the Thames estuary. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 20-25 mm. Larva feeds on Cotton.
