A very rare vagrant from the continent, to date there have been three widely scattered British & Irish records, with the first in Cornwall on 7 December 2016, the first for Ireland on 25 December 2018, and another in East Sussex (VC14) on 23 November 2020, all records associated with late autumn/winter migrant arrivals; a winter-flying species that closely resembles C. chamomillae. Any claim will require the retention of a specimen for confirmation.
