Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from mainland Europe, appearing in southern England. Only two British records, both in Dorset, one in 1978 and one in 2006. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 26-28 mm. Not unlike
White-pinion Spotted Lomographa bimaculata, but smaller and whiter, with more angulated postmedian fascia. Larva feeds on Poplar, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
