Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from southern Europe. The only British record was on the Isles of Scilly at Longstones, St Marys, on 17 October 2006. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 28-30 mm. No evidence of breeding in the UK.
