Likely accidental import in produce from eastern Asia, with one recorded from a light trap at Gravesend, Kent on 24 May 2004. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 16-20 mm. Slightly smaller than D. reticularis and lacking the chequered wing fringes. Larva and life-cycle undescribed.
