Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in woodland, fruit farms, orchards and gardens in parts of England. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 18-22 mm. The relatively broader forewing and weakly strigulate whitish hindwing are characteristic of this species. Larva feeds on flowers and leaves of Garden Strawberry and herbaceous plants, living within a spun or rolled leaf, over-wintering in a silken chamber.
