Naturalised through accidental introduction in garden junipers. First recorded at light at Winchmore Hill, north London, on 28 August 1971, and most likely to be found in parks and gardens, where possibly now resident in some areas (MBGBI Vol 4 part 2). Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 15-18 mm. Larva feeds on berries of Juniper, living within a silken tube or tent.
