Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) and confined to Shrawley Wood, Worcestershire, where rediscovered in 1987 after not having been seen for many years, and Monmouthshire, where found for the first time in June 1999. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 15.5-22 mm. Larva feeds on Small-leaved Lime, living between leaves spun together with silk.
