Local in hedgerows and on waste ground throughout much of southern Britain, where widespread but erratic in appearance, occurring with less frequency as far north as Co. Durham, the native populations periodically reinforced by immigration. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight almost exclusively confined to the coast in the south-east of the county and on the Island. Wingspan 8-10 mm. Larva mines leaves of Field Bindweed and Hedge Bindweed.
