Vulnerable, proposed as a future Red Data Book species. Found in damp woodland, it was last seen in England towards the end of the 19th Century (Durham and Yorkshire), until another was trapped in Durham in 2012. There are occasional and scattered records from Scotland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 12-14 mm. Larva feeds within flowers and seedheads of Ramsons.
