Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from olive groves in southern Europe. First encountered in the UK in 2006 with two in the Isles of Scilly and two in Dorset, all in June. The first reports from Hampshire were in 2016, with the first for Isle of Wight in 2018. Wingspan 12-15 mm. Larva mines leaves of Olive. A possible future colonist on introduced Olive trees.
