Introduction
Rare on maritime heathland in Cornwall. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 7-10 mm. Very similar to
I. albicomella
, from which reliably separated only by dissection of the genitalia. Larva feeds on detritus.
