Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in pomegranates from south-east Asia or Australia. There is a single record of one found as a pupa in a pomegranate in a Tesco supermarket at Crawley, West Sussex, on 2 September 2010. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 45-55mm. Fairly unmistakable.
