Common in various habitats, including hedgerows, scrub, woodland rides, fens, chalk downland, gardens and heathland throughout the British Isles. Widespread and common in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 29-33 mm. Larva feeds on various herbaceous plants, including Cleavers, Hedge Bedstraw and Primrose.
