Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from mainland Europe. There have been documented records from Kent and Surrey. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 19-22 mm. Could be overlooked as Thisanotia chrysonuchella.
