Recorded infrequently through accidental introduction in cacao from West Africa; one was recorded in a London cacao warehouse on 18 July 1930. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 22-30 mm. Larva feeds on Cacao and various cereal crops.
