Rare in open areas and waste ground in parts of East Anglia, South Midlands and Kincardineshire. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-10 mm. Larva feeds within seed capsules of Wild Parsnip, over-wintering as a pupa.
