Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) and now confined to fens, marshes, river-banks and other damp areas in East Anglia. In Hampshire, known from Southampton in the 1930s and 1940s and the Isle of Wight in the late 1950s and early 1960s, but apparently not since. Wingspan 15-16 mm. Larva feeds on Yellow Flag.
