Nationally scarce (Nb) in mature oak woodland in parts of the Welsh Borders, Lake District and Perthshire. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 7.5-9 mm. Larva mines leaves of Oak, over-wintering as a pupa in a cocoon.
