Extinct in the British Isles, formerly recorded on just two occasions: in Sutherland in May 1854 and at Salcombe, Devon in June 1873. Possibly imported. Known from central Europe. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 11-13 mm.
