Rare on limestone downland in parts of the Burren, the Inner Hebrides and Sutherland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 4.5-5.5 mm. Larva mines leaves of Mountain Avens, over-wintering as a pupa.
