Status insufficiently known (thought likely to be a future Red Data Book species) in parts of Scotland, where it was only discovered in 1990. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 5.5-6.5 mm. Larva mines leaves of Water Avens.
